Sites I Check Every Day:

http://whispersintheloggia.blogspot.com/     It is far too easy to get caught up in our own little corner of the Church and lose site of what’s going on in the rest of the tent.  Rocco Palmo’s blog is a great way to get caught up on what’s going on in the Universal Church .

http://www.catholicYMblog.com     Some of you remember Scott from his days on staff at the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry.  Those of you in the Archdiocese of Baltimore are blessed to have him serving in your Division of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.  The rest of us can bask in the light of Scott’s wisdom by visiting his site, reading his blog, and soaking up the many articles and powerpoints he has made available.

http://www.ysmarko.com/  Marko is the president of Youth Specialties, as well as an accomplished author and great youth ministry thinker.  **Update - Marko recently made the regrettable, yet respectable choice to give up the blogging buisness.  I'll leave his site on the list for a while, though, as its still online and there's a lot of great material there.

http://stufffchristianslike.blogspot.com/  If you can't learn to laugh at yourself, everyone else will.

http://presurfer.blogspot.com/  He surfs the web so you don't have to.

http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/  You never know what you might find at this free software site.

http://www.jkontherun.com/  I'm kinda addicted to technolgy.

Sites I Check Every Week:

http://www.nfcym.org     The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry - Serving Those who Serve the Young Church .

http://www.nacyml.org     The National Association of Catholic Youth Ministry Leaders – Promoting the Profession and Practice of Catholic Youth Ministry.

http://mikestpierre.blogspot.com/     Mike provides some awesome life-coaching tips, and he's a campus minister to boot (as in “as well”, not as in the guy tries to minister to cowboy shoes...you get the idea...).

http://www.mikepatin.com    What an inspiration!  This crazy cajun man amazes me with his ability to be a conduit for the Holy Spirit!

http://toobaditsraining.blogspot.com/  Awesome collection of random thoughts and musings.

http://www.youtube.com     At first glance, a pointless waste of time.  Upon closer inspection, an incredible look into the culture we live in, and a great way to kill an hour.

Resources, Ideas, and Other Free Stuff

http://www.simplyyouthministry.com/     Doug Fields wrote “Purpose Driven Youth Ministry.”  I especially love the “freebies” section on this site.

http://www.thesource4ym.com/     Okay, so the title is a little cocky, but there are some great nuggets here.
